Hot Spots in Houston
No, Houston is not the capital of Texas, but it is known as the world capital of space exploration. Houston, with approximately 2.3 million residents, is the fourth largest city in the United States. Downtown Houston is home to the Theater District, pro sports teams, and the Houston Theater District. Downtown has an impressive Skyline with 19th century architecture and upscale restaurants. In this blog we’ve provided you with Hot Spots in Houston that you must visit.
Luxury Hotels in Houston. Four Seasons Hotel Houston includes 289 guest rooms, 115 suites and 64 residences in downtown near the home of the Houston Astros and Minute Maid Park. An oasis rooftop pool, Topgolf, and Bourbon Stewards are a few of the amenities you’ll enjoy at Four Seasons Hotel Houston. Exceptional service is a staple at Four Seasons properties.
The St. Regis Houston is known for its lavish style. With 232 spacious accommodations, St. Regis Houston is conveniently located between River Oaks, Houston’s most exclusive residential neighborhood, and the Galleria Houston, known for luxury shopping and world-class entertainment. Amenities include a spa, fine dining, and butler service.
On this trip I chose to stay at The Post Oak Hotel in the heart of uptown Houston. The Post Oak Hotel is the only Texas Forbes Five-Star Hotel and Spa and Houston’s only AAA Five-Diamond hotel. The 38 story tower has 250 oversized modern guestrooms and suites with 20 executive residences. There’s a two-story Rolls-Royce showroom and onsite Bentley and Bugatti dealerships.
One of my favorite spots at The Post Oak Hotel is the outdoor heated pool, a true tropical oasis. The pool area is amazing, surrounded by a stunning fire pit, cozy modern chaise lounges, in-water recliners, a waterfall spilling from the hot tub, and dedicated pool staff serving up the most flavorful food and cocktails.
Another favorite spot at The Post Oak Hotel is the Bloom & Bee with their extravagantly gorgeous blooms and cocktails that taste like spring in a glass.
Make sure you check out these attractions and hidden gems on your trip to Houston.
Downtown Houston Skyline. From Houston’s Sesquicentennial Park, not only will you get a beautiful view of the city skyline, but you’ll also get up close to a statue of the 41st President, George Bush as he looks towards the downtown Houston skyline.
Beatles Statues. Sculptor David Adickes’ giant concrete statues of the Beatles: John, Paul, George, and Ringo, stands 36 feet tall in the 8th Wonder Brewery yard. While you’re there, also get a picture of the We Love Houston Sign.
Space Center of Houston. It’s the leading science and space exploration learning center with over 400 space artifacts and different exhibits. Discover one of Houston’s top attractions and home to the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center. Purchase your Houston Space Center ticket, to see the world’s largest collection of moon rocks and lunar samples for public view, learn about renowned NASA Mission Control, and astronaut training.
Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park. The Waterwall is one of Houston’s most visited landmarks and most popular public parks. The incredible sound of 11,000 gallons of water per minute cascading down the inner and outer walls of the fountain is amazing and it’s also a great spot to take beautiful pictures.

This was my first visit to Houston. It was wonderful! I plan to go back and explore more of the city and surrounding areas like Galveston Island.
